While most food businesses in Canada are small, the governing rules and regulations were built for big corporations, making them particularly challenging to navigate for entrepreneurs. The Small Scale Food Processor Association (SSFPA) is creating a resource guide incorporating all aspects of starting and growing a food business — from information about the Canadian food industry as a sector to the minutiae of labeling, certifications, and much, much, more!
